Trivia Game and Prize Winning Rules

Winners from the previous month will be posted on Monday Morning. It is the winner's responsibility to e-mail kurt@careerbuzz.com and and state the prize they have won and provide the address they want the gift certificate sent to.  Winners will only receive their gift certificate if these instructions are followed. 1 Winner per household every 90 days. Due to random computer selection process, it is possible that ineligible contestants (90 day rule) may be posted as winners.

All trivia contests appear monthly on careerbuzz. New questions will be posted either late Sunday evening or early Monday morning and will stay active for the whole month. So, you'll have plenty of time to answer them. No answers will be accepted after questions have been taken off of The Stinger page. Winners will be posted near the trivia theme they won each month. These contests will continue on a monthly basis unless terminated by the Sponsor with one month’s notice.

The following rules apply to all monthly trivia games on The Stinger page of careerbuzz.com. No purchase is necessary. To enter, simply register and answer any (or all) of the trivia questions. Correct answers from registered entrants are eligible. You may enter as many times as you like. We will hold a random drawing from all correct entries.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late or misdirected entries or any problems of technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or any entry received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on America OnLine, the internet, the careerbuzz.com site or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer resulting from downloading any materials in this promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE CAREERBUZZ.COM SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANTS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Prizes are the actual value of the gift certificate offered. Careerbuzz reserves the right to substitute company coupons of comparable value based on availability. Odds for winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per person per trivia category. Prize delivery should take between 4-6 weeks.

Our trivia contests are open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec Province and where prohibited by law. Employees of careerbuzz.com, Success Advertising, The Cherenson Group and participating companies on The Stinger page are not eligible nor are their immediate family members.

Careerbuzz.com is not responsible for content of trivia questions or answers. We will do our best to provide the correct answers through research, reference materials and general knowledge. Answers incorrectly posted on careerbuzz.com due to reference materials, research, omissions, technological or human error is not our responsibility. A winner will still be selected randomly from entries answering correctly according to our information and posting. Remember kids, this is just a game!

All people entering these monthly contests agree that their name(s), city and company name, should they win, will be posted on The Stinger page of careerbuzz.com for approximately one (1) month. All federal, state and local laws apply. All taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By entering, participants release and hold harmless careerbuzz.com, Success Advertising, The Cherenson Group, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and participating Stinger page companies from any and all liability for injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or use of any prize won. Careerbuzz.com reserves the right to terminate this contest if it becomes technically corrupted.
